I feel like there’s a Women’s Studies paper to be written on the odd twist of the Damsel in Distress (Olivia) proactively causing her Knight in Shining Armor (Peter) to be brought to her, and then having him not save her, but instead having him act as a battery powering her and allowing her to save the both of them. And then I give thanks that I’m not in college anymore.

― Comment made by spicoli323 on the AV Club’s review of Fringe Episode 4.14.  I loved this comment and it’s so true!  I love the character of Olivia so much- she was so strong in the scene where she electrocuted Jones’ men, yet so painfully vulnerable when she was talking with Peter afterwards.  Anna Torv and Joshua Jackson are amazing!
